Lesson 1: No Mind

~ Achieving more from life than you have now is simply a matter

of doing the right things in the correct order.Andy Shaw

Lesson 1: No Mind

In the first lesson I share with you the most powerful and most crucial exercise contained within the Bug Free Mind Process, my now world famous exercise: No Mind

When you watch this video you’ll meet what I called the “nutter” … or another name I use is, “the little saboteur” …who’s responsible for keeping you STUCK in certain areas of your life and making it impossible for you to make or sustain progress.

The good news is, once we SHINE THE LIGHT of your awareness at this little “critter” you’ll be ready to start defeating the little “b@$*@&d”

This exercise really is the CORE or PRIMARY exercise from the Bug Free Mind Process.

Because it allows you to ‘break free’ from your existing patterns of thought and REGAIN full control over the power of your mind… Which leaves you feeling GOOD – Instantly!

Brian Tracy famously said, ‘Change Your Thinking and You Change Your Life’.

However, this is just learning what to do, and is just what to think.

What this video teaches is how to think, and in doing so it allows you freedom to change your thinking and then your life changes as a result.

Meaning you are able to actually apply with ease what Brian has correctly said about what you ‘should’ do

Please understand this, if you understand nothing else.

Without FULL control of your own mind, you will struggle to achieve the greatness you were born to achieve.

Watch this video now & RESTORE the natural success mindset you had as a child…

I recommend you watch this video through once – there is a lot to think about in this short video. Then read the notes underneath the video on how to best to use this video in conjunction with the training guide below to get the promised result.

Things to consider…

Watching that video on its own is worthless…

No mind is the state you wish to attain if you wish to have absolute power over your mind. Your mind is quite simply a power tool like a drill and the problem is people have not been trained in how to use the tool. Like any tool it needs to be practised with and mastered. You would not leave a drill to run endlessly.

No you would pick it up and use it when it was needed. This is how you should be using your mind. This technique and the others I have shared in the previous few videos are the foundation of creating the life you desire. All you need to do now is continue to practise UNTIL you master No Mind.

  • Consider, being able to hold an empty mind with no thoughts at all.
  • Consider, being able to just bring in no mind without effort.
  • Consider, the power you would have to be able to re-start your mind at anytime and in any situation. How would that make you feel?
  • Consider, you have not trained your mind before so isn’t it reasonable to assume that you will have to spend a little time to build some mental muscles.
  • Consider, what else would you be doing with the time anyway. After all to co the same thing and expect a different result is insanity… How does it make you feel to consider the time being wasted if you don’t do it?
  • Consider, could the reason you haven’t succeeded yet be that you are attempting to put the roof on your design before you’ve built the foundations? How does it make you feel to know there was/IS no way you can create your success by trying to put the roof on first?
  • Consider, do you think you already KNOW the skill of repetition?
  • Consider, if you don’t have the life you desire, that you almost certainly do not KNOW the skill of repetition, how does this make you feel? You are looking for feelings not words.
  • Consider, it is not the things that you have yet to discover that will change your life. But the things you have ‘learnt’ and ignored.
  • Consider, can you acquire great power by repeating stuff?

To wake up and realise that you are not the controller of your thoughts many say is the beginning of wisdom. Taking back control from the entity you have allowed in is essential to you in getting the life you desire. Until you master this, then you will not gain the life that you seek! This bit is THAT important!

Remember: The purpose of these videos is not to overwhelm you with information. They are there to guide you to the right way to think instead of the wrong way. You have been taught by schools to cram in information, however, your results will show you if you care to look at them that this does not work. So cramming will not work here. What will work is you disassembling your thoughts and almost effortlessly constructing new ways to think.

I started reading the first chapter of the free downloaded book only on Sunday (today is Wednesday) I have been using the 15 seconds of focusing on my happy place (actually often much longer than 15 seconds) and find it is amazing to stop the chattering chimp. I find myself stopping my mind and moving it to this place (Mount Snowdon) regularly. I already feel my mind is calmer and hence my general persona. Then I looked at the emails again and it seems I have approached them all in the wrong order! So today I looked at Lesson 1 – No Mind. I immediately took myself off to the quietest place in the house (far from silent though, added to by tummy rumblings). I understand my mind should have nothing in it at all (I would say I could keep it fairly quiet for a few seconds!) however on reading your students’ comments one guy was talking about not breathing, heart stopping etc – this seems a little extreme. Every time my mind ‘wandered’, I took a deep breath, exhaled – thought (oops) ‘off’ and started again. Not sure I am on the right tracks – would you suggest a length of time, daily, several times a day?? … and whether I can continue to practice this whilst continuing to read the book (apologies for the bad grammar!). I have gathered I should not move onto Lesson 2 until I have mastered this. It’s a long message, thank you for your time.

      Hi Steph,

Firstly, the order you do things in is fine. Dip in and dip out where you want to and what feels good. The secret is to keep coming back and applying 10 to 15 minutes of this daily.

I suggest not forcing no-mind, or rather not attempting to force it. If it comes easily great, if it is harder, then when it comes it will be FAR MORE rewarding. No Mind will begin to appear in glimpses as you prolong your exposure to the 15 second technique and the gratitude technique.

So take it easy and don’t chastise yourself, as you should always be delighted with yourself NO MATTER WHAT.

As for how much time to devote to it, do what makes you feel good. If it feels good to control your thoughts then do more. Some days you’ll be busy and you’ll notice your mind slip back. This can be good to have happen too as that way IF you notice it’ll help bring you back.

Basically, take it easy and enjoy the journey. All these techniques are there to get you to a living it state of mind which takes a fair while to develop. However, time is not important as it will take as long as it takes, only you can work on how short a time that will be and it is different for us all. Then when you get it, you’ll love it… Well at least that’s what I found and tens of thousands of students tell me that too 🙂

      Best wishes,

      Andy

    Dear Andy,

Love & Light to you. Thank you for offering your knowledge and experiences so generously.
So far it seems to me you have found the missing bits of the puzzle. Well done and said.

Several times I attempted to watch the videos, but it does not work!?

    Wishing you all the best,

    Suny

  3. Phoxy says:

    Dear Andy,

I’ve listened to this recording about 8 times now. I cannot find the technique how to still my mind. You talk about how you taught your children and that your son can bring it on fast and hold it for a while, but how? I was looking for a ‘how to do it’. Could you please point me in the right direction?
Thank you and have a great day.

    Cheers
    Phoxy

    1. Andy Shaw says:

      Hi Phoxy,

I think I answered this in a previous comment, so I suggest checking them. However, if you go to section 4 of this kit you’ll find all the techniques which lead up to this one in pdf and audio format. Then this one should become much easier to understand.

      Best wishes,

      Andy

  4. Tamara says:

… feeling hope … emptying … making room for what matters … holding on to trinkets … repeating NO MIND exercises when I wake with chatter at 4 am … bless you for sharing

  5. Tamara says:

… how to create an impenetrable force field … NEED that —did I miss it?

    1. Andy Shaw says:

      Hi Tamara,

It’s in the first 5 chapters.

      Best wishes,

      Andy

  6. Grace Modingoane says:

How do I get all the tools and the techniques of figuring out the numbers?

    1. Andy Shaw says:

      Hi Grace,

      Not sure what you mean?

      Best wishes,

      Andy
