Most people live their entire lives this way! They devote nearly their time to considering what will likely go wrong.
Some people put fancy names on it, like analysis paralysis… Others just keep quite as they don’t want anyone to know how afraid they really are.
They spend their time either afraid of what may never happen or worrying that someone will find out they are afraid. In doing so they are nurturing the weeds in their minds to grow.
They do it so much that as they age then eventually no thought is given any more to planting flowers. They ceased living long ago and now purely exist…
Unfortunately the horrible truth is, that to truly live is probably one of the rarest things in the world. Most people exist, that is all…
No one’s watching you right now… So why not choose to take a few minutes to consider properly whether you are living or existing…
Whatever, you find, remember to be delighted with yourself for being conscious enough to look…

In today’s Footstep, I have for you another video taken randomly from my Success Made Simple course. This video covers one of the fear sections which deals with the Fear of Failure.
Removing the fear of failure cannot be covered in one little video as there a lot of areas in it. So this is just one tiny section of it dealing with when you know enough about a subject to begin…
By mastering this simple thinking structure skill you can save yourself literally years of your life…
Not only that but by practicing this and using this then one of the by-products is a higher self-esteem…
Though no effort is put into increasing your self-esteem…
That’s just a freebie ![]()
Taken from Success Made Simple:
The BIG ONE! … Fear Of Failure Part 4 – Who’s Afraid of The Big Bad Illusion
Video Notes – Some things to think about
I recommend you watch this video through once – there is a lot to think about in this short video. Then read the notes underneath the video for how best to use this video in conjunction with the training guide below to get the promised result.
Things to consider…
Watching that video on its own is worthless…
If only, they knew… Are probably what every successful person secretly says to themselves at some point… ‘If only they knew, how little I know (or knew)!’ Success comes to those who are active, to those who know a small percentage of what they need to know and then get going… Success eludes the ones who seek to know too much.
- Consider, are you too afraid to live your dreams because living in fear takes up too much of your time.
- Consider, you can learn all you need about a subject in just a few hours of study. Nearly always, the more you learn before you begin, the less chance of you actually beginning.
- Consider, your acquisition of knowledge before you begin is preventing your success. What does your ego think about that?
- Consider, a time when your ego convinced you to wait and learn more and then you ultimately stagnated on the opportunity – business or social – and it never happened.
- Consider, you only need to be perceived to know more to be able to sell your products.
- Consider, what did Richard Branson know about signing a musician before he signed Mike Oldfield… He copied another record companies recording contract… He knew next to nothing, but he knew what he desired to do.
- Consider, what did Mark Zuckerberg know about social media sites before he started Facebook. He knew next to nothing, but he knew what he desired to do.
- Consider any successful person there is and they all learnt their skills and expertise with on the job training… They knew very little at the start, they just knew what they desired to do, so recognised an opportunity when they saw it… So you may want to consider now, just how important it is for you to figure out what you desire BEFORE putting you in the path of opportunities.
- Consider, when I sold my first membership site that I knew way less than 10% of the business, yet I was still able to make sales… I learnt on the job. So how do you feel about learning as you go along and having other people pay you to learn… How does this make you feel?
- Consider, how do you feel about ‘failing forward’ now.
- Consider, can you yet apply the ready, fire, aim philosophy into your life. Why not ask yourself why not… Are you saving yourself for something greater… After all EVERY SINGLE successful person applied ready, fire, aim… So it looks like if you want success, then you’ve ‘gotta’ learn how to… How does this make you feel?
- Consider, can you design failure in as a natural part of your success… How does this make you feel… Each failure you now know leads to eventual success.
- Consider, some failure will be necessary on the road to success. Do you think this will actually help you, or are you scared by it.
- Consider, by taking the action you will acquire the remaining knowledge you require in the shortest possible time.
- Consider, an opportunities magic ingredient is momentum… People who over analyse kill off an opportunities magic ingredient and then wonder what went wrong. Then they convince themselves that they were right to check it out fully… Then they wonder why they have never become successful… They kill their success off with their fear of failure time and time again. Have you done this too?
- Consider, not overestimating others and underestimating yourself… All experts began with less knowledge than the experts who never begun…
- Consider, successful people are not the experts usually. Sometimes they become experts but they NEVER are at the start. However, because they either have no fear of failure or their fear of failure is managed, then that buys them the time to become an expert as they learn along the way.
Imagine that… If you had acted on your gut instinct on one of those times an opportunity passed your way… Or if you did then go and relive that decision you took to take that opportunity when it appeared.
Use that mindset to teach you the way you should be thinking if you wish to apply the needed structure to your thinking which results in inevitable success… There is something you succeed at in life where you apply this thinking to.
Maybe you are good at sports, or you are good at chatting people up, or you are good at making friends, or you are good at whatever… You apply the ready, fire, aim philosophy at those points in your life.
So all you have to do now is learn where you apply it well and see how you are not applying it in the areas you want to… And then decide to change it… easy eh!
Remember: The purpose of these videos is not to overwhelm you with information. They are there to guide you to the right way to think instead of the wrong way. You have been taught by schools to cram in information, however, your results will show you if you care to look at them that this does not work. So cramming will not work here. What will work is you disassembling your thoughts and almost effortlessly constructing new ways to think.

**** END of SMS video ****
How does all this make you feel…
Fear of failure is overcome simply by pulling back the curtain on all the illusions which surround it ![]()
When you understand how it is achieved intellectually, then the only hard thing is remembering to actually apply it when you notice your fear of failure is present…

The other thing to do today is to continue reading or listening to the first five chapters of Creating A Bug-Free Mind, you can get them here.
I’ll be back soon with the next Footstep video which follows on from this video…
If you would like to know more about these videos and how the way it’s being taught is exactly the way Ben Franklin explained to do it in his autobiography, then click here to watch a video which explains it all.
Best wishes,
Andy
P.S. Never forget… Your mind is like a pond and your thoughts are the water in the pond… All thoughts are connected like water is connected.
The ONLY WAY to make the water in your pond clear again is by cleaning all the water in an all-encompassing way…
Remember what I’ve said to you before… If you want to raise and maintain your level of consciousness then you either regularly re-read and keep re-reading these Footsteps, or you begin the Process.
I assure you that it is my full intention to get you to see the benefit of going through the full Process, and at some point, I will convince you…
Or you could just decide today to begin and see where that takes you.

Hi Andy – I wish I’d read this at 26 rather than 62…but better later than never…so here goes!
This one struck a chord! Time to get up and go.
Andy firstly, thanks for a great write up; Do you realize you sound just like my little Wife Jackie? She has always said to me, simply do not waste time re over Analyse; Get the Fuck on with it. Sure things went wrong from bad to worse, then of course as you have stated, see I was right to check things out, else what a state we would have been in.
Andy, when I have your Fee for one Day Couching, 1-1, I will bring THEE BIGGEST NOTE BOOK EVER.
Cheers, many thanks, have a great evening, John.
My little Wife Jackie, spent her first Years 20, simply living around the corner from where you live.
Hey Andy, Thanks so much for the Great video. I agree 100% with NigelG, I wish to heck I’d known this in order to counter-act all the fears that are pushed on us, and which we eventually accept as ” thoughtful caution” and thorough examination
