How to turn it around
if you’re 65 and homeless…

~ Your mindset guarantees your success or failure in all you do ~ Andy Shaw

mind-power-2

Just after I was at my lowest point in life, I decided that what I was going to do next, and what I was going to do from then on… Would mean that at least 20 people a day would thank me for the rest of my life.

I am very happy to say this has been the case now for a while and over the years I have been sent thousands of emails from people thanking me for my work. I am often touched by all the wonderful messages I receive, but this message I felt needed to touch a lot more people…

Glen went through a horrific situation which is unimaginable for most to consider even possible! And he was able to not worry in a situation that breeds worrying… He was able to become and remain happy whilst in a horrible position…

abundance-2He was able to think abundantly when he had virtually nothing… And he was able to go to give, and gave other people one of the best gifts of all, that of listening and encouragement…

(Glen’s response was added to a blog post I put up in 2012.)

Hi Andy,

I’d like to talk about the being broke problem from this post. Last July I found myself nearly totally broke. I lost my relationship of twenty-five years and found myself homeless on the streets of Fort Saint John, British Columbia. $300 dollars in my pocket, my laptop and a couple of garbage bags of clothes. Sixty-five years old, no job, no contacts in a strange town.

If that isn’t broke, it’ll do.

I spent the next couple of months living in the Salvation Army shelter and slowly improved my situation to where I now have a small job and an apartment that I share with a couple of friends. Good deal, too, because it’s -35 outside right now and the snow is about a meter deep.

Here’s the thing, though. Just before the bottom fell out of my world I discovered your stuff. I downloaded the free chapters and read all the free stuff on your website. When things totally collapsed for me, I used Sedona method clearing to deal with the worst of it and your stuff to guide me in the long run.

It took me three months but I was eventually able to purchase the books and audios. I simply knew I would be able to someday and didn’t worry about it in the meantime, working with the free material instead.

What you said about going to give is so true. I only had a small pension while I was in the shelter, basically just enough to buy cigarettes and an occasional cup of coffee. I made a decision to always share my cigarettes. In other words, whatever I had I would share.

Also, it turned out that listening and being encouraging to strangers was a great way to give. My life transformed pretty quickly, all things considered. The most important thing is that, because of what I learned from you, I was able to be happy most of the time, even when things were blackest.

I’ve just scratched the surface of what you teach but I know from experience that it works. That isn’t theoretical acceptance, it’s knowledge. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Sorry to go on so long.

Thanks Andy.

Can you imagine what Glenn went through?

Amazing right? Something none of us would ever wish to experience!

Glenn was able to use some simple thinking structures to achieve all he did in a time that was incredibly difficult…

So can you imagine you could very easily overcome any area of life you either have a problem with or simply wish to succeed with?

abundance-2Just imagine, no more worrying… About anything!

If you’re a worrier today then there’s countless worries that you worry about… And there are loads more worries that you don’t even know exist because you are surrounded by worries…

And if you are someone who doesn’t think you worry, then you are in for a few surprises, as worrying comes in all sorts of disguises… Only when you can see it, can you be sure you’re free of it.

Just imagine being able to think and see abundance while surrounded by the trappings of poverty… Glenn was able to do that and live abundantly when he had nothing… I love sharing this story, which he apologised for sending as it went on so long!

Can you see that if Glenn can turn his thinking around from the position of being 65 years old homeless and broke that you can do the unimaginable starting today from your position…

Always remember… Life is only over if YOU think it’s over…

You deserve to live your life on your terms from whatever starting position you are in. So I trust Glenn’s story demonstrates how anything is possible, and he was certainly in a worse position than you’re in now…

Plus he turned it around with just the free chapters for three months before he was able to purchase my full system for structured thinking.

So if Glenn can do it, then you can too…

I trust this story inspires you to either begin, or if you are feeling you’re close to giving up… Then I trust this inspires you to ‘give it another go.’

Best wishes,

Andy
